Applying for a Grant
Following on from the success of raising over £250,000 between 2017 & 2021 primaily for The Huntington's Disease Association, the Do It For Dom Charity has now been established.
The Do It for Dom Charity will focuses on helping people within our industry experiencing mental and physical health conditions whilst continuing to support The Huntington’s Disease Association Charity and other Charities specialising in Neurological research.
Since 2018 we have raised over £250,000 for charities and would now in addition like to support those within our industry.
What We Fund
We award up to £3,000 for a grant subject to our terms and conditions. In extreme cases an award of up to £25,000 can be made.Examples of funding include:
- provision of mobility equipment, occupational therapy-based solutions
- home adaptions, support for carers, mobility aids
- care support and counselling costs
- support and therapy, welfare breaks, access to leisure activities
- supporting charities and organisations that mirror our objects
Eligibility
Individuals or companies can nominate a person to support from within the Estate Agency Industry and must complete an application form approved by one of our regional volunteer ambassadors who also works within the industry.
Applications from companies must demonstrate they have first fully supported the nominee through their own company fund-raising activities and additionally with company financial or welfare support.
Your Grant Application
We may receive more applications than we can fund. For this reason please look at the following criteria to assess your application and the limit we may place on the amount awarded.We may receive more applications than we can fund. - For companies you should be signed up to the Do It For Dom Charity, contribute to and support the work we do. If this is not the case your grant application may be reduced by up to two thirds.
- Charities of organisations we support with high levels of reserves are less in need of our funding. This will reduce a grant application by at least two thirds.
- If you have successfully received two grants or more from us in the last two years your grant application may be reduced by at least one third.
The 2024 Challenge......
This year, the 'Do It For Dom' event returns as an 'Adventure Challenge,' featuring an Old School Sports Day in Northampton.
Take a stroll down memory lane and head back to school by joining this old school sports day with a twist! Work in teams in our carefully crafted sports activities catered to all skill levels, ensuring everyone can participate with a challenge whilst raising funds.
This is both a day and evening event, which includes the challenge and evening meal. Tickets are £149 each and your commitment is to raise a minimum of £200 each - why not enter a team and set a team target? Read more
